Exploring Internet Addiction in Italian Nurses during the COVID-19 Outbreak

(1) Background: Nomophobia is considered a digital and virtual contemporary society disorder refers to discomfort, anxiety, nervousness, or distress caused by being out of contact with cell phone computer. The present study had twofold objective: evaluate the expert use Internet among Italian nurses correlating it socio-demographic characteristics, such as: sex, years work experience, professional role, level nursing education; assess possible increase in levels nomophobia during COVID-19 compared pre-pandemic period. (2) Methods: An observational, cross-sectional, multicenter was conducted from April September 2020, as First Wave outbreak. (3) Results: A total 502 were enrolled study.
